Job summary

Vale Concepts in Seattle is seeking a Matcha Bar Shift Lead to direct daily operations across our Mobile Matcha Bars during peak hours. You will own hospitality, coach ambassadors, manage guest experience, and maintain standards across multiple locations.

This role requires travel between Seattle-area bars, strong communication, calm leadership under pressure, and a hands-on approach to training and accountability. 35–40 hour workweek with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Ownership mindset and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-location operations.
• Experience training, coaching, and holding employees accountable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to hospitality and guest experience.
• Willingness to travel between locations and adjust priorities daily.
• Decisiveness to make timely decisions without constant direction.

Responsibilities

• Own hospitality across Vale’s Mobile Matcha Bars, coaching ambassadors on guest engagement, drink quality, speed of service and cleanliness.
• Lead day-to-day coaching, development, and support of Matcha Ambassadors.
• Ensure smooth, consistent operations during active shifts.
• Set the tone, accountability, and energy of the team during shifts.
