Job summary

Penn Fleet is seeking an experienced Mobile Service Manager to lead and grow our mobile repair division. This leadership role oversees technicians, ensures top customer service, and drives efficiency across field operations.

You will coordinate dispatch, monitor productivity, and help expand mobile service offerings. The ideal candidate has a background in truck or fleet maintenance, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities to manage customer expectations and team

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in truck, fleet, diesel, or heavy equipment repair is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the mobile service department.
• Schedule and dispatch mobile technicians for emergency and preventative maintenance calls.
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and service updates.
• Ensure technicians have the tools, parts, and information needed for each job.
• Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.
• Assist in estimating repairs and approving work orders.
• Coordinate with the shop, parts department, and customers to maximize productivity.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Help develop and expand the company’s mobile service business.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and DOT regulations.
• Track KPIs including response time, billed hours, revenue, and technician utilization.
