Job summary

Avenue5 Residential, LLC is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to service multiple apartment communities across our California portfolio. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs while upholding safety standards and exceptional resident service.

Work includes on-site maintenance at properties like Walnut Creek and nearby cities; you’ll handle work orders, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with supervisors to keep curb appeal and operations at the

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and reliable auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use basic office equipment and tools.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Address apartment and property maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds.
• Carpentry tasks: wallboard repair, countertop replacement, finish carpentry, window/door repair.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to standard and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and amenities for safety, cleanliness and issues.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and after-hours calls.
• Observe safety and risk management per regulations and company policy.
• Promote courteous, professional resident interactions and curb appeal.
