Job summary

Bellwether Housing is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to perform apartment and property maintenance across Seattle-area properties. You’ll handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and renovation tasks, ensuring units are ready for re-renting and that safety standards are met.

You will work on-site, Monday through Friday, with after-hours rotation and potential non-traditional schedules to meet property needs.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in property management or related field.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license with required insurance and safe driving record.
• Able to read, write, and speak English; able to travel to multiple properties.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders with Property Managers and Maintenance Supervisor and plan repairs.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs in homes and across properties.
• Prepare vacant units for re-renting in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with Maintenance and Property Managers as needed.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and compliance with Bellwether standards.
