Job summary

Florida Canyon is seeking a maintenance technician to perform pre and post operation inspections, maintain a fleet of haul trucks and loaders, and troubleshoot equipment at the mine site in the United States.

You will interpret schematics, order replacement parts, and work safely with a team to ensure continuous operations. A minimum of 3 years of surface mining equipment experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience with mining equipment (surface), including drills, required.
• Proficient in reading hydraulic and electrical schematics, required.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical issues with mining equipment, required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds, required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the position, required.

Responsibilities
