Job summary

Southwest Concrete Paving is seeking a Mobile Lube Technician- Traveling to perform fluid changes, inspections, and minor repairs across projects in the western United States. The role requires travel up to 100% and the ability to work with heavy equipment and trucks.

You will document service logs, operate reporting tools, and ensure safety and environmental compliance on site. A High School Diploma and a valid Real ID are required, with English proficiency (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled fluid changes, greasing, filter replacements and inspections on heavy equipment and vehicles
• Service assets including heavy equipment, commercial vehicles and small equipment
• Carry out minor repairs and installations like lighting, mounting GPS devices
• Ensure maintenance tasks are completed with proper documentation and checks
• Maintain environmental compliance and proper waste fluid disposal
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Mobile Lube Technician- Traveling

Southwest Concrete Paving is an established concrete paving company specializing in military airfield construction across the western United States. The Mobile Lube Technician is responsible for general equipment services at the jobsite. The job duties of a Mobile Lube Technician may include performing fluid changes, routine inspections, small repairs and installations, and miscellaneous maintenance. Must be willing to travel 100%

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Perform scheduled fluid changes, greasing, filter replacements, routine inspections, and DOT inspections on commercial transport equipment
• Service a wide range of assets, including heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, paving equipment), commercial vehicles (dump trucks and tractor-trailers), and small equipment powered by both gas and diesel engines
• Small repairs and installations, such as replacing lights and mudflaps, mounting GPS devices, and handling other miscellaneous maintenance tasks as assigned
• Complete every service task meticulously, ensuring fluid levels, components, and inspection checklists are fully verified
• Maintain full compliance with environmental regulations, spill prevention, proper waste fluid disposal guidelines, and client-mandated job site rules
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to travel up to 100%
• Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends
• Must be able to work in conditions with loud noise; work on/around heavy/moving machinery; bend, walk, stand and sit for extended time; and use hand tools
• Must be comfortable and proficient in operating electronic devices, including laptops, iPads, and other digital tools for reporting, service logs, and communication
• Must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. or more on a regular basis
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Must have a REAL ID or the ability to obtain a REAL ID before start date

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven prior experience in heavy equipment services, commercial truck maintenance (dump trucks and tractor-trailers), preventative maintenance, and working with both gas and diesel engines

In addition to a competitive salary, Davis Bacon Rates and daily per diem apply on participating projects.
