Job summary

Lakeview Rock Products is seeking a Field Service Lube Technician to operate a service/lube truck and travel to job sites for scheduled maintenance on construction and mining equipment.

Responsibilities include oil changes, grease, fluid sampling, basic inspections, and reporting repairs. You will lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors year-round, and coordinate with foremen. Valid CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and clean MVR required.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Must have acceptable MVR.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs periodically.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round and maintain safety.

• Drive and operate the service/lube truck safely and maintain DOT records.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on heavy equipment (oil, filters, fluids, greasing).
• Inspect equipment and report needed repairs.
• Coordinate service times with foremen and superintendents.
• Complete service and inspection reports and obtain fluid samples.
• Assist with basic repairs on equipment and the service truck.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Work outdoors in all weather, including around equipment.

Job description

Description:

Lakeview Rock Products is hiring a Field Service Lube Technician to join our team. In this role you will operate a service/lube truck and travel to job sites to perform scheduled maintenance on a wide range of construction and mining equipment, including dozers, wheel loaders, excavators (track hoes), mobile generators, off-road forklifts, and more.

You will change oil and filters, grease equipment, fuel machines, take fluid samples, perform basic inspections, and report needed repairs to our mechanics.

Job Duties:

• Drive and operate the service/lube truck safely and maintain accurate D.O.T. records
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (oil, filters, fluids, greasing)
• Inspect equipment for needed repairs or additional maintenance and report findings
• Communicate with foremen and superintendents to schedule service times
• Complete service reports, inspection reports, and obtain fluid samples
• Perform basic repairs on equipment and the service truck
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including on and under equipment

Qualifications:

Required

• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs periodically
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors year-round

Preferred

• Previous experience with preventative maintenance on heavy construction equipment
