Job summary

tdgFacilities in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Commercial Electrician - Low Voltage Specialist to install, service, and commission low voltage building systems in the Greater Cincinnati area. You will support HVAC controls, BAS, access control, CCTV, and related low voltage technologies.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with low voltage systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formally trained in electrical/low voltage applications.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC controls, BAS, access control, CCTV, or related low voltage systems preferred.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, IP networking and building automation protocols a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and service HVAC control systems and BAS.
• Perform startup, commissioning, testing, and verification of newly installed controls and low voltage equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems, door hardware, card readers, electric strikes, and magnetic locks.
• Install and service security camera systems, NVRs, DVRs, and related surveillance equipment.
• Run, terminate, label, and test CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic, and control wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and project drawings.
• Diagnose and repair system failures, communication issues, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
• Provide preventative maintenance and routine inspections of installed systems.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and customer records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company policies.
