Job summary

TDG Facilities, LLC is seeking a Mobile Building Systems & Low Voltage Technician to support Greater Cincinnati, OH facilities. You will troubleshoot and install low-voltage and security systems, and coordinate with other technicians to keep buildings secure, accessible, and operational.

The role covers access control, building automation, electrical interfaces, doors, and general facility maintenance with a focus on independent work, customer service, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, equipment documentation, and basic schematics
• Comfortable using meters and common diagnostic tools
• Understanding of basic electrical and low-voltage principles
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working independently in commercial facilities
• Ability to use mobile technology for work orders and documentation
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with commercial maintenance and installation work

Responsibilities

• Low-voltage wiring, cabling, terminations, and troubleshooting
• Access control systems, card readers, electronic locks, and related hardware
• Security devices, cameras, sensors, and associated infrastructure
• Intercom and communication systems
• Building automation and control system components
• Door operators, electric strikes, request-to-exit devices, and related controls
• Basic network-connected building devices
• Low-voltage power supplies, transformers, relays, and control wiring
• Troubleshooting building system communication and connectivity issues
• Preventive maintenance and system inspections
• Equipment replacement, upgrades, and small installation projects
• General electrical and mechanical troubleshooting within appropriate qualifications
• Commercial doors and building hardware
• General facility repairs and mobile maintenance
• Supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility technicians
• Documenting work performed, equipment information, deficiencies, and recommended repairs
