Job summary

tdgFacilities is seeking a full-time Mobile Commercial Electrician – Low Voltage Specialist to serve the Greater Cincinnati area. You will install, service, and commission low voltage building systems, including BAS, access control, CCTV, and related wiring, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include startup, testing, documenting maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formally trained in electrical/low voltage applications.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC controls, BAS, access control, CCTV, or related low voltage systems.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, IP networking, and building automation protocols a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and service HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Perform startup, commissioning, testing, and verification of newly installed controls and low voltage equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems, door hardware, card readers, electric strikes, and magnetic locks.
• Install and service security camera systems, NVRs, DVRs, and related surveillance equipment.
• Run, terminate, label, and test CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic, and control wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and project drawings.
• Diagnose and repair system failures, communication issues, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
• Provide preventative maintenance and routine inspections of installed systems.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and customer records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company policies.
