Job summary

tdgFacilities in the Greater Cincinnati area is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Commercial Electrician - Low Voltage Specialist to install, service, and commission low voltage building systems, including BAS, access control, CCTV, and alarm systems for commercial facilities.

You will read blueprints, perform startup and testing, troubleshoot failures, maintain accurate service records, and work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional on-call rotation, supported by a safety‑minded team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC controls, BAS, access control, CCTV, or related low voltage systems.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, IP networking, and building automation protocols a plus.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and service HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Perform startup, commissioning, testing, and verification of newly installed controls and low voltage equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems, door hardware, card readers, electric strikes, and magnetic locks.
• Install and service security camera systems, NVRs, DVRs, and related surveillance equipment.
• Run, terminate, label, and test CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic, and control wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and project drawings.
• Diagnose and repair system failures, communication issues, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
• Provide preventative maintenance and routine inspections of installed systems.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and customer records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company policies.
