Job summary

URS Properties is seeking a Floating Leasing Consultant to rent apartments across Maine, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina. You will generate traffic, respond to inquiries, tour prospects, and secure leases with completed applications and deposits.

Daily tasks include property inspections, lease-file maintenance, and follow-ups with residents. The role requires collaboration with maintenance and marketing to drive occupancy and service quality.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and travel well.

Responsibilities

• Rent apartments by generating traffic, responding to inquiries, greeting prospects, touring properties, and closing with applications and deposits.
• Visually inspect properties daily for cleanliness and touch up model units.
• Process rental applications and gather required documents; schedule move-ins and prepare lease files.
• Maintain lease files per policy and record traffic from all sources.
• Convert at least 30% of traffic to leases.
• Follow up with prospects within 24 hours and with two additional contacts.
• Assist with community marketing plans to generate traffic; conduct outreach weekly.
• Manage leads and contacts; visit competitors monthly to stay market-aware.
• Perform janitorial tasks as needed to keep units ready for residents.
• Document incidents for management and report emergencies.
