Job summary

Equipment Depot seeks a technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and equipment. You will read work orders, diagnose malfunctions, and perform mechanical repairs after thorough inspection.

You will communicate with customers, provide estimates, and document all repairs with accurate data like model, serial number and hour readings. Ideal candidates have a GED/HS diploma, 1–3 months related experience, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 months related experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills: knowledge of internet software.
• Certificates & Licenses: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Language: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and observe the truck to diagnose problems.
• Provide solutions and estimates when appropriate.
• Perform mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis.
• Record repair details, model, serial numbers, and hour meter readings.
• Obtain customer signatures and communicate repair needs and completions.
