Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Experience: One to Three months related experience and/or training.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of internet software.
• Certificates & Licenses: Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Language: Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write reports.
• Math: Basic arithmetic, rates, ratios, and percent calculations.
• Reasoning: Ability to follow written/oral instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order and observes/traning to diagnose malfunction.
• Offers solutions and provides estimates when appropriate.
• Performs mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis.
• Records repair descriptions with model, serial number, and hours.
• Obtains customer signature and communicates repair needs.
• Checks guards, bolts, and safety devices for proper function.
• Lubricates moving parts and tests repaired truck for conformance.
• Represents Equipment Depot and maintains professional image.
• Tracks and schedules service van maintenance with operations.
• Returns paperwork daily; submits time cards by 9:00 a.m.
