Job summary

Equipment Depot, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and equipment. You will read work orders, diagnose problems, provide repair estimates, perform repairs, and verify operation after service.

You will document repairs with model and serial numbers, communicate with customers about needs, ensure safety, and manage daily paperwork and time cards in Wisconsin. A valid driver's license with a clean record is required.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Graduate or GED.
  • Experience: 1–3 months related experience or training.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of internet software.
  • Certificates: Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Language: Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.

Responsibilities

  • Read work orders and observe/troubleshoot trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Provide solutions and estimates for repair needs.
  • Perform mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis.
  • Record repair details including model, serial number, and hours.
  • Communicate with customers about repairs and findings.
  • Inspect guards, bolts and safety devices; make adjustments as needed.
  • Verify repairs by test driving repaired equipment.
