Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Virginia seeks an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care at clients’ homes across Richmond, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, Chesterfield, and Petersburg. You’ll enjoy a flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedule, ongoing mentorship, and a supportive onboarding program with 24/7/365 resources.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets in clients' homes.
• Support families with compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during home visits.
• Coordinate care with Lap of Love leadership and mentors.
