Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Richmond, VA and surrounding areas seeks an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to deliver compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes. As a mobile veterinarian, you’ll practice with purpose while maintaining balance and personal well‑being.

Join a network of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with mentoring, onboarding, and a culture of kindness, offering flexible 2–5 day schedules, and a base salary with bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the clients' homes as a mobile veterinarian
• Deliver care with empathy, supporting families during meaningful moments
• Practice independently while staying connected with a community of veterinarians and mentors
