Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Northern Virginia, including Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax and Falls Church. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, prioritizing work-life balance and a supportive culture.

You’ll join a network of 400+ veterinarians with ongoing mentorship, flexible 2–5 day schedules, and generous benefits designed to support professional fulfillment and personal well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background check and motor vehicle record check prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in-home.
• Practice veterinary medicine independently as part of a mobile team.
• Deliver high-quality care while balancing family time and well-being.
