Job summary

Lap of Love seeks an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to join the mobile hospice team across Hampton Roads, VA. You’ll provide compassionate care at families’ homes, balancing professional fulfill­ment with personal life in a supportive culture.

Join a community of 400+ veterinarians with strong mentorship, onboarding, and 24/7 support. 4‑day positions start at $107,500 and 5‑day roles at $130,000, plus bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required and licensure to practice in the U.S.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Practice as a mobile veterinarian visiting homes across the region.
• Engage with families to offer support and high-quality veterinary care.
• Participate in onboarding, mentorship, and continuous learning.
