Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve the Richmond, VA area. As a mobile veterinary team, you will provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes, delivering compassionate medicine with balance and personal well-being in mind.

You will join a community of veterinarians and support staff offering mentorship, ongoing training, and a robust onboarding process to help you thrive while practicing independently.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Must hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with help.
• Candidates will undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families.
• Coordinate care with families and support staff to ensure compassionate service.
• Travel to client homes across Richmond, Midlothian, Mechanicsville and surrounding areas.
