Lap of Love is hiring an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Richmond, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, Chesterfield, and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, enabling you to practice medicine with purpose while maintaining balance in life and work.

You will join a community of veterinarians and support staff, receive onboarding and ongoing mentorship, and enjoy a culture that values kindness and professional fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine required (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance; weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in client homes.
• Deliver compassionate medical care while supporting pet owners during difficult moments.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team and mentors for ongoing professional development.
