Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a HVAC Mobile Engineer to service commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities in the Southfield area. This day-shift role covers 15–20 sites, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations while using a company van and tools.

A strong background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work is required, with a valid driver’s license and durable problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or trade school with 4–5 years of related experience; combination of experience and education considered.
Ability to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs).
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment per codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Troubleshoot failures and perform repairs on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs; document maintenance and repair records.
Operate company vehicles to visit 15–20 sites in the Southfield area.
Provide training and share HVAC knowledge with team members; coach others.
Uphold CBRE RISE values and lead by example to ensure quality workmanship.
