Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems across Dayton, OH and surrounding areas. The role emphasizes energy efficiency, proactive repairs, and minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in building engineering with HVAC/R expertise, and are familiar with CMMS/Work Order systems. A high school diploma or GED is required, with trades training preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of building engineering with strong HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair/maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship in electrical/HVAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and installed systems and equipment.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and related building components.
• Study equipment to understand operation and required maintenance methods.
• Perform facility inspections and due diligence, reporting findings affecting client occupancy and operations.
• Be on-call and respond to maintenance needs as required.
