Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to join our North America team in Amarillo, TX. You will perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role includes quoting services and after-market support, with factory certification through STA and local union benefits. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HVAC troubleshooting experience, EPA refrigerant license, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• Minimum of three (3) years commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience (Rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors).
• Universal EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license; applicable state/local licensing.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Provide quotes to customers and assist in sales-related activities.
• Support after-market service and ensure safety and quality standards.
