Job summary
Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC mechanics to service commercial heating and cooling systems in North America. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and replacement of commercial HVAC equipment, with emphasis on safety and quality.
You'll work with others on light to heavy commercial projects, using diagnostic tools, performing shaft alignments, and quoting repairs to customers. The company provides tools, uniforms, a vehicle, and ongoing training through STA with opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
- Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators for pumps/fans/compressors.
- Able to use vibration equipment to troubleshoot drivelines.
- Ability to clearly write and communicate problem, cause and corrective actions.
- Universal EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems.
- Provide quotes to customers and upsell where appropriate.
- Offer solutions at commissioning and aftermarket service.
- Maintain safety and quality standards in all service activities.
