Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC mechanics to join our North America teams, focusing on light and heavy commercial systems. You will perform maintenance, repair, and replacement on HVACR equipment, while upholding safety standards and providing technical quotes to customers.

Candidates should have 3+ years in HVAC troubleshooting, hold a universal EPA license, and possess a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 20% may be required; union affiliation is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• Minimum of three years commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience (Rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, compressors).
• Universal EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support fast-growing HVAC business across North America, focusing on light to heavy commercial systems.
• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial HVACR equipment.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to customers; participate in Service Plus Rewards program.
