Job summary

JLL in Dallas, TX is seeking a Mobile Engineer to operate, inspect and maintain HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems across assigned facilities. You will minimize downtime, perform repairs, and ensure safety and compliance while supporting after-hours activities.

Requirements include Universal EPA 608 Certification, Journeyman License, 4+ years in building engineering, valid driver's license, ability to lift 80 lbs and climb 30 ft, and willingness to on-call overtime.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 certification required.
• Journeyman license required.
• 4+ years of technical experience in building engineering.
• Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders.
• Availability for on-call duties and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility systems and equipment.
• Maintaining, operating, and repairing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conducting facility inspections and reporting on conditions affecting client operations.
• Responding to emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Preparing and submitting summary reports on work performed and recommending actions.
• Familiarizing yourself with various equipment and proper usage methods.
• Complying with safety procedures and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
• Ensuring compliance with state, county, and city ordinances, codes, and laws.
• Supporting after-hours building activities as required.
