Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Engineer to manage, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment across assigned facilities in the Boston area. The role emphasizes energy efficiency, safety, and minimized downtime through proactive repairs and skilled multi-disciplinary capabilities.

The position requires 4+ years in building engineering with HVAC/R focus, a Universal CFC certification, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Universal CFC recovery certification required within 90 days of employment.
• 4+ years of technical building engineering experience with a strong HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment background.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution, plumbing, and building repairs.
• Study and become familiar with equipment and methods used daily.
• Perform facility inspections and due diligence reporting on conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• Submit P-card receipts daily and update work order status in real time.
• Utilize CMMS for all work performed.
• Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver''s license and be available for on-call work.
