Job summary

ManpowerGroup’s client seeks a Mobile Engineer 2 to join the Facilities Management & Engineering Operations team in Mobile, AL. You will support multiple client sites, perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and travel within the territory.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, time management, and customer-focused service, with on-call rotation responsibilities and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; trade school education preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of commercial building engineering experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Universal EPA/CFC Certification (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including packaged units, air handlers, boilers, and chillers.
• Maintain and service building systems including electrical, plumbing, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems.
• Travel to multiple client locations within an assigned territory using a company vehicle.
• Complete work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities utilizing CMMS technology with minimal supervision.
• Build strong client relationships while identifying operational improvements and energy-saving opportunities.
