Job summary

Manpower Group is assisting a client in Mobile, Alabama, in recruiting a Mobile Engineer 2 to join the Facilities Management & Engineering Operations team. The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems across multiple client sites in the Mobile, AL territory.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of commercial building engineering experience, EPA/CFC certification, and a valid driver\license for travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; trade education preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of commercial building engineering experience.
• Universal EPA/CFC Certification (required).
• Valid driverericense with a clear driving record and ability to travel.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems.
• Maintain building systems including electrical, plumbing, controls, and life-safety systems.
• Travel to client locations within the territory using a company vehicle.
• Complete work orders and inspections using CMMS with minimal supervision.
• Build strong client relationships and identify energy-saving opportunities.

Our client, a global commercial real estate and facilities management leader, is seeking a Mobile Engineer 2 to join their team. As a Mobile Engineer 2, you will be part of the Facilities Management & Engineering Operations team supporting multiple commercial client sites throughout the Mobile, Alabama territory. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent time management, and a customer-focused mindset that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Mobile Engineer 2

Location:Mobile, Alabama

Schedule:Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM with on-call rotation responsibilities

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including packaged units, air handlers, boilers, and chillers.
• Maintain and service building systems including electrical, plumbing, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems.
• Travel to multiple client locations within an assigned territory using a company vehicle.
• Complete work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities utilizing CMMS technology with minimal supervision.
• Build strong client relationships while identifying operational improvements and energy-saving opportunities.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training or trade school education preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of commercial building engineering experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Universal EPA/CFC Certification (required).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
