Job summary

Rutherford MHC Management is hiring a full-time Mobile Home Community Maintenance Technician to service a beautiful all-age mobile home park in San Marcos, California. The role partners with the onsite Community Manager to maintain park facilities, amenities, and equipment ensuring a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

The position offers an hourly wage of $23.00–$40.00 with a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Prepared for the unexpected with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, inspectors, co-workers, managers and residents.
• Willingness to perform scheduled and unscheduled local, county, and state inspections.
• No prior property management experience required.
• Attention to detail and neat penmanship.
• Professional demeanor and customer-service attitude.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work on-call for emergency service requests after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Park-owned facilities, amenities, common areas and equipment in safe, clean, and operational condition.
• Manage inspections, maintenance, and timely reports (maintenance, gas systems, inspections).
• Coordinate with the onsite Community Manager/Maintenance Manager and vendors to address issues.
• Interact professionally with residents and staff to create a positive living experience.
