Job summary

Arizona Liver Health in Kingman, AZ, seeks an Outreach Specialist to lead community outreach for viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections. The role requires daily travel within Mohave County using a mobile medical van and delivering education, testing, and support to patients.

The position is full-time, exempt, with a salary of $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Strong communication and public health knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, nursing, social work, or related field.
• Significant experience in infectious disease or related health services preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; able to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with local health departments and community groups for outreach.
• Conduct outreach to viral hepatitis high-risk communities.
• Provide individualized education and risk reduction plans.
• Complete patient testing for viral hepatitis and other STIs.
• Perform psychosocial assessments to identify non-medical needs.
• Support HCV/STI positive patients starting or continuing treatment.
• Identify and re-engage patients who have fallen out of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Travel daily within Mohave County using mobile van.
