Job summary

Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County seeks a Health Services Representative to operate and maintain the Medical Mobile Unit, conduct HIV/STD screenings, and provide outreach and education. You will collect demographic data in HMS, perform waived tests, and coordinate linkage to care and PrEP referrals.

Responsibilities include transporting testing materials, ensuring vehicle readiness, and supporting community outreach events.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Driver’s License and access to a reliable private automobile.
• Experience conducting outreach activities and community outreach.
• Bilingual abilities preferred: English/Spanish or English/Creole.

Responsibilities

• Drive mobile medical units to community locations in Miami-Dade County.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Collect and enter client demographic information accurately into HMS.
• Conduct HIV/STD screenings and related health education.
• Provide linkage to care and PrEP referrals and health education.
• Maintain and secure the Medical Mobile Unit and manage supplies.
• Complete administrative duties and participate in quality improvement activities.
