Amrize North America is seeking a Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, overhaul, and repair heavy haul vehicles and mixer fleets across active project sites in the United States. The role requires outdoor work, CDL preferred, and the ability to lift 100 pounds.

You will travel between plant locations, perform regular maintenance, and ensure fleet safety while coordinating with the Maintenance Manager and Driver Lead. Amrize offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• 3 years related experience or heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions.
• Outdoor work in all types of weather conditions; long/unpredictable hours.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures delivery trucks operate and prevent breakdowns that block client placement or haul routing.
• Travels between plant installations and delivery zones to provide regular fleet PMs and field support.
• Troubleshoots drum rotation gear drives, water pumps, and hydraulic lines on ready-mix trucks and trailer systems.
• Maintains fleet safety parameters and adheres to all safety policies.
• Performs engine, brake, and chassis interventions with appropriate equipment and containment.
• Maintains drum revolution speeds and blade structures to meet quality specs.
• Prevents delivery delays by avoiding load rejections and potential material set-ups.
• Maximizes tire life and fleet parts efficiency.
• Files FMCSA logs, DOT inspections, brake certifications, and maintenance records.
• Reports to the regional Maintenance Manager and coordinates with Driver Lead.
