Amrize in Hubbard, TX is seeking a Mechanic for a special project with a living expenses allowance. The role focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, overhauling, and repairing heavy haul vehicles and mixer fleets across active project environments.

Requires outdoor work in all weather, long and unpredictable hours, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. A Class A or B CDL is preferred, and 3 years of related experience or a mechanics program graduate is desired.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred.
• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate (Heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions).
• Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• They may be required to work long and unpredictable hours.
• Must be able to stand for long periods on varied surfaces.
• Must be able to move freely, including the ability to stoop, crawl, and bend at the knees and waist.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.

Aufgaben

• Ensures delivery trucks operate flawlessly, preventing breakdowns from blocking active client placement avenues, paving paths, or haul routing lanes.
• Travels between temporary plant installations and delivery zones within the designated territory to provide regular fleet PMs and emergency field support.
• Advanced mechanical work on heavy equipment including diesel engines, transmissions, drum rotation gear drives, hydraulic lines.
• Upholds maximum fleet safety parameters and compliance with FMCSA logs and inspections.
• Directly coordinates daily site truck issues with drivers and maintenance teams.
