Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mechanic (Special Project) in Hubbard, TX to inspect, diagnose, overhaul, and repair heavy haul vehicles, mixer fleets, and related equipment across active project sites. The role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and significant travel between plant installations and delivery zones.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or equivalent and a valid CDL preferred, with 3 years’ related experience or a mechanics background.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; Class A or B preferred.
• 3 years experience in heavy equipment diesel engines and transmissions or completed mechanics school.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; long/unpredictable hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, overhaul, and repair heavy haul vehicles and mixer fleets.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency field support across designated territory.
• Maintain safety compliance and proper use of PPE in all tasks.
• Document maintenance logs, and coordinate with Driver Lead and Maintenance Manager.
