Job summary

Fiore & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to service and repair Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, and Kenworth fleets at Colorado project sites. Travel to worksites and diagnose issues to minimize downtime.

Candidate will read electrical, mechanical, fuel, and hydraulic schematics, maintain logs, and uphold safety standards. A CDL Class B and basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, fuel and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with Tier 3/4 emissions systems.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently while meeting safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment.
• Read, understand, and apply mechanical, electrical, fuel and hydraulic schematics to repair work.
• Diagnose Tier 3 and Tier 4 interim and Tier 4 final emissions systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Remove, repair, and install major heavy equipment components.
• Service trucks and maintain equipment inspection logs.
• Maintain tools per OSHA regulations.
• Participate in safety trainings and initiatives.
