Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. (Torque by Ryder) is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Mid-Level Mobile Automotive Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Savannah, GA. The role offers weekly pay, up to $32 per hour based on experience, and a $2000 quarterly retention bonus within the first year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Professional diploma preferred.
• Two years or more of combined classroom training and work experience.
• Non-Commercial Driver License CLASS E
• CDL CLASS A preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance for non-contractual customers.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire changes, fuel filter changes, fluid checks and basic replacements.
• Assist higher-grade technicians to diagnose, repair or replace engine parts.
• Perform basic diagnostics.
• Operate mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards within region.
• Document work orders and repair notes in Salesforce.
