Transwest Mobile Truck & Trailer is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy‑duty diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems at customer sites. You will use advanced diagnostic tools and document all work clearly.

This field role includes lifting, driving a company vehicle, and performing on-site repairs across CA. Applicants should have 5+ years hands-on experience, ASE or OEM training preferred, and a strong ability to work under pressure in a

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years hands-on with diesel powertrains, hydraulics, or electrical systems.
• Proficiency with modern diagnostic tooling and service literature.
• Ability to troubleshoot under pressure in fast-paced field environments.
• Own professional tool set for the role.
• Valid driver’s license; comfortable operating a company vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Field service/mobile repair experience with ASE/OEM training preferred.

A loader is down with a hydraulic fault. You diagnose in minutes, verify the fix with a road test, and get their crew back on schedule. Then it’s off to your next call—an electrical issue on a fleet tractor—before mentoring a junior tech on best practices and closing the day with clean, accurate service notes.
