Job summary

Transwest Mobile is seeking elite technicians to lead advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems across multiple states. You will mentor junior technicians, drive quality, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering superior service in demanding environments.

The role requires 5–10+ years of hands-on experience, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to operate cranes and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5–10+ years of experience in heavy equipment, diesel, or hydraulic system repair.
• Expert-level knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in advanced diagnostics and complex repairs (e.g., CAN bus, ECM).
• Ability to supply a full set of professional tools suitable for the job.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in high-pressure settings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle (mobile role).
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor/outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems (including CAN bus and ECM), as well as medium and light duty applications.
• Perform engine overhauls, rebuilds, and complex repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and service manuals to troubleshoot intricate issues.
• Operate cranes and specialized equipment to support high-level maintenance tasks.
• Mentor and train junior technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Communicate expertly with customers, providing detailed diagnostics and service recommendations.
• Maintain meticulous records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
