Job summary

Transwest Mobile seeks elite Field Diesel Technicians to join our Corpus Christi-based team. You will lead advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems (CAN bus/ECM), and perform complex engine overhauls in a mobile setting.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10+ years of experience in heavy equipment or diesel repair, ASE certifications, and proven leadership ability to mentor junior technicians while maintaining safety and efficiency on customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–10+ years in heavy equipment, diesel, or hydraulic repair.
• ASE certifications preferred (T2–T8) or Master Diesel status.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, and CAN bus/ECM systems.
• Mentor junior technicians and train teams on safety and best practices.
• Document repairs thoroughly and communicate service recommendations to customers.
• Operate cranes and specialized equipment for high-level maintenance.
