Job summary

Transwest Mobile is seeking skilled field technicians to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in diverse job sites. You will diagnose diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems, execute planned and urgent repairs, and ensure safety and quality standards on every job.

You will also mentor junior technicians, document service acts and parts used, and stay current with new diagnostic techniques. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 50+ pounds are required, with a company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with diesel, hydraulic, or electrical systems on heavy equipment.
• Fluency with diagnostic tools, software, and service literature.
• Calm, methodical troubleshooting under pressure in fast-moving field environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and farm machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic platforms and OEM service manuals.
• Handle scheduled PMs and unscheduled fixes independently while meeting safety and performance standards.
• Operate cranes and gear to support lifts, component swaps, and field repairs.
• Capture detailed service notes, parts used, and time for audit-ready records.
• Coach entry-level technicians and share best practices on active jobsites.
