Job summary

CAPS & Maple City is expanding its mobile health services and seeks a Medical Assistant to join the team in Goshen, Indiana. The MA will support clinical care, operate the mobile health unit, and ensure accurate EMR documentation while delivering compassionate patient interactions.

Responsibilities include vaccines administration, blood draws, basic labs, and coordinating care with healthcare providers. Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred to serve diverse patients in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 1-year certificate or 3–6 months related training; or equivalent.
• Experience in cross-cultural settings.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate data in the EMR and protect patient privacy.
• Assist with operating and maintaining the mobile health unit at events.
• Administer vaccines and other injections; perform labs and procedures.
• Carry out blood draws and telephone encounters as needed.
• Communicate with patients and support staff effectively.
