Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Driver for the Mobile Health Unit to transport staff and equipment to patient sites. You will register patients, verify demographics, and ensure forms are completed on-site.

Responsibilities include following routes, maintaining the van, and providing excellent customer service in a mobile health setting. The role requires a valid CDL A or B, a state driver’s license, and a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver’s License and CDL Class A or B are required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience with truck or bus is required; patient care experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle safely and maintain vehicle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates hospital vehicle to transport Mobile Health, equipment to various sites in a safe manner
• Completes daily checklist to ensure van and equipment are in working order and reports any malfunction of the vehicle to management
• Gases vehicle on specified days of the week and maintains cleanliness of van and stocks supplies when necessary
• Meets and greets customers by obtaining and verify the patient’s demographic information and ensures the completion of forms
