Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a driver for the mobile care unit, ensuring a safe environment and assisting with patient check-in and transport to clinical teams. You will support daily operations, maintenance, and scheduling coverage with the program coordinator.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR and a valid CDL-B with passenger endorsement, plus a year of driving large vehicles experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year previous experience in driving large vehicles.
• Current CPR Certification. CDL class B license with passenger endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain a safe environment per license and policies.
• Report safety events to program coordinator.
• Utilize appropriate emergency resources for incidents.
• Transport patients on and off the mobile care unit.
• Assist with daily maintenance of the mobile care unit.
• Coordinate driver coverage with the program coordinator.
• Maintain the mobile care unit and vans in good condition.
• Attend to patient check-in and health/safety screenings.
