Job summary

CAPS & Maple City is seeking a Front Office Team Member to join the Patient Resources Team. The role includes driving the mobile health unit to events, assisting with patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry.

Bilingual Spanish/English skills and healthcare customer service experience are preferred. The successful candidate will operate the MHU per protocol, maintain HIPAA privacy, and support a collaborative, inclusive workplace focused on providing access to quality

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associates degree preferred
• Experience in customer service, preferably healthcare
• Ability to read and interpret safety/operational documents
• Proficient in Word and Excel; EMR experience preferred
• Bilingual Spanish/English required or strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a fast-paced setting with excellent customer service
• Identify and route inquiries to appropriate staff while addressing questions
• Maintain patient data privacy and HIPAA compliance
• Schedule visits, verify insurance eligibility, collect demographics
• Assist with community enrollment events and mobile unit setup/teardown
• Operate and maintain the mobile health unit per protocol
• Support staff communication and patient intake processes
• Complete telephone encounters and maintain documentation
