Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Driver for the Mobile Health Unit. The role involves transporting the unit to patient sites, registering patients on-site, and maintaining the vehicle and equipment in good condition. CDL Class A or B and a valid state license are required.

The candidate should have prior truck or bus driving experience and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include on-site patient interaction, collecting demographics, and ensuring forms are completed.

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver’s License and CDL Class A or B (required).
• High School Degree or GED.
• Previous experience driving trucks or buses is required.
• Patient care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates hospital vehicle to transport Mobile Health to various sites safely.
• Completes daily checklist and reports vehicle issues to management.
• Gases vehicle on designated days and maintains cleanliness and stock of supplies.
• Meets and greets customers, collects demographic information, and ensures forms are completed.
