Job summary

Mission Mobile Medical seeks a Physician Assistant for a Mobile Health Program, based out of San Jose, CA. The PA will provide primary care on a mobile clinic, perform assessments, manage chronic diseases, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes community outreach, service leadership, and delivering care where it is needed most. Travel with the mobile clinic team is required, and compensation includes a 20% premium and relocation support as applicable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification.
• Currently licensed or eligible for California PA licensure with a collaborative practice agreement.
• Clinical experience in primary care or community health preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primary Care Services: Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, provide routine primary care.
• Patient Assessments: Take medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Chronic Disease Management: Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems.
• Administrative Duties: Open/close clinics, inventory, scheduling, and maintain a clean environment.
• Preventive Care: Administer vaccinations and health screenings.
• Collaboration: Work with supervising physicians, nurses, and medical assistants.
• Community Outreach: Participate in outreach activities to engage with the community.
• Leadership planning for growth opportunities.
