Job summary

Mission Mobile Medical is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its mobile health program based in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The PA will deliver primary care, manage chronic conditions, perform patient assessments, and document in EHR systems while traveling with the mobile clinic to nearby sites.

Qualifications include a Master's from an accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, and MO licensure or eligibility with a collaborative practice agreement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Missouri PA licensure or eligibility with collaborative practice agreement in place
• Experience in primary care or community health preferred
• Experience with EHR preferred
• Ability to provide world-class service to stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Primary Care Services: conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, provide routine primary care
• Patient assessments: take histories, perform examinations, interpret tests
• Chronic disease management: develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions
• Documentation: maintain patient records in EHR
• Administrative duties: clinic operations, inventory, scheduling, insurance verification, payments
• Preventive care: vaccinations, health screenings, health education
• Collaboration: work with supervising physicians, nurses, medical assistants
• Community outreach: engage with communities and raise awareness
• Leadership planning: contribute to growth opportunities for the mobile clinic
