Job summary

360Care is seeking a compassionate Doctor of Optometry to serve residents of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as a mobile provider.

This 1099 independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling, no evenings or weekends, and comprehensive office and logistics support to focus on clinical decision-making.

Travel to facilities, perform eye exams, diagnose ocular diseases, prescribe and fit eyewear, and educate patients and staff on vision care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree required.
• Active state license in good standing.
• Willingness to travel to skilled nursing and LTC facilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Conduct eye exams with portable equipment.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on vision care.
• Deliver excellent customer service through patient interactions.
